Changes, changes, changes - Restaurant City on Facebook is always full of surprises.

Previously, I could be wrong but I believe the maximum number of employees you could have was 8, now it has gone up, we now have 9 employees. I don't know if there will be anymore or if 9 is the maximum.

9 employees is good, although that is more people to feed, the cost of keeping your employees healthy can get quite high. It gets a bit frustrating when you earn all this money and then half of it goes on giving your employees health. Oh well, such is life, all is good.

I am getting too addicted to Restaurant City though, I really need to stop spending so much time on it. I wish that they would give decent food to buy, they never have any that I need.

At the moment they have this halloween special with the extra dishes in the menu, you would think that they would offer the ingredients needed for those dishes as the food to buy, so I was quite disappointed today when I went in and there was nothing that I needed for the halloween dishes - VERY FRUSTRATING!

I noticed yesterday that all the star ratings had disappeared too. Don't know what's happening there, but there is no longer anyone on Gourmet Street so I guess people will have to rebuild their ratings to get back on Gourmet street. I have been rated today though and now have a higher rating than I had before the ratings disappeared, so I'm happy

Anyway, thanks for reading, I better get back to playing.....

Restaurant City on Facebook has a few more changes today. When Restaurant City is first loading you might notice the bats on the screen. It's Halloween month and Playfish have added some Halloween features.

There is a new dish in each food category and they are halloween dishes. These dishes can only be leveled up for the next 3 weeks after which time you wont be able to level them up. So if you want to get the Halloween dishes work hard over the next couple of weeks to get them up to level 10 or you wont be able to after the 3 weeks are up.

The other halloween additions are in the redecorating area where there is a Gothic Divider and a Jar of Eyes. These are also available for a limited time so grab them quick if you want them. There are also a number of decorative items for outside for the halloween theme, some of them look really cool.

Another change I noticed today is that when you enter your restaurant and it brings up the total earned while you were out, it now also tells you the gourmet points earned. Previously the gourmet points didn't increased unless you were in the restaurant and had that screen open, now though it looks like they increase when you close the screen, which is great.

Love the changes Playfish - Great Job!

A big surprise today when I logged onto Restaurant City and found there were lots of changes. There were some ‘look’ changes, such as the link to redecorating is now a hammer where as it use to be a chair.

The biggest changes though are the Playfish Money. So there is the normal money that you earned before and now there is also Playfish money.

There are certain things in the redecorating shop that you can only buy with Playfish money and you can also buy any ingredient with Playfish money.

The problem is though – how do you earn Playfish money?

Playfish money isn’t earned when people eat in your restaurant like the usual money tally. In fact, at this stage, I don’t know if there is any way that you can earn Playfish money other than purchasing it with real money which is $5 for $25 in Playfish money.

I know this is a revenue source for Facebook if they can encourage people to make money, but it would be good to not have to spend money.

There is just one change that I wish they had made, and that is with the Food Quiz – perhaps they could give you 8 Playfish points so you could go in and purchase what ingredient you needed, rather than them just give you any ingredient. That would be good.

If you are on facebook and you play Restaurant City you are probably thinking how do all of those people on gourmet street get there so I will tell you how to get better restaurants in a quicker way so here they are

If you are on facebook and you play Restaurant City you are probably thinking how do all of those people on gourmet street get there so I will tell you how to get better restaurants in a quicker way so here they are

•	If your people are asleep put a chair in front of the door so that your restaurant is closed or people will come in and give your restaurant thumbs down for no food
•	When your money shows up in the box (when you first log into restaurant city) it will never go past 2000 dollars so go on every hour or so to update your people’s health
•	By getting food you can level up your dishes and the higher level the dishes the more gourmet points you’ll get everytime someone orders that dish. The dish levels go up to level 10 which gives you 2.8 gourmet points. The more friends you have on restaurant city the more people you will have to trade food with.
•	If you look around your restaurant there will be trees and if you click them sometimes money will come out. You can also get money from clicking on the trees outside other people’s restaurants.
•	If you look at other peoples restaurants you will get free food and if they have rubbish (banana, can, pizza, chicken and apple cores) on the floor click them and you will get a dollar for every one plus gourmet points
•	If you make a square with the tables and stoves so that the waiters will be inside and wont have to walk as far, this makes your customers get served quicker and keeps them happier and you get more thumbs up points.
•	Have waiting chairs so that if there are no tables available the customers will sit and wait instead of just leaving and giving a thumbs down.
•	Try to make the customers walk further to get to the seats, this gives the customers eating more time to finish so then you get less thumbs downs.
•	If you’re toilets need cleaned, go into ‘decorate’ mode and pull the toilets back in to stock, then put them back out into the restaurant again and they will be clean. This saves you having a full time cleaner, then you can use that cleaner as a waiter or chef.
