My post today is a sad one with the first thing I heard this morning being that Heath Ledger has died of an apparent drug overdose.

As a fellow aussie I was a big fan of Heath and I thought he was a really good actor.  He has a little girl Matilda who is only 2 years old, that poor little girl will now grow up without her Daddy.

Heath was found by his housekeeper who rang 911 when she couldn't wake him.  Paramedics responded and when they arrived he was in full cardiac arrest.  They attempted CPR on him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A brilliant actor with a great career and his life cut short.  Whether it was suicide or whether it was an accidental overdose doesn't really matter, it is a waste of a life.

 My thoughts are with his family at this time.
