My Mum has quite a few blogs and in fact she works and earns her full income online.  So when I kept bugging her for money for one thing or another, she told me that I should start and frequently update a blog.  This is how my blog here at ben-teen.com originated.

Mum told me that I should count myself lucky, back in her younger days boys had to do newspaper rounds to earn some pocket money, now these days we can earn some money from home.  The other good thing about blogging is that it is fun and I can just blog about the things that I like, so why not do it! I started my kids blogging a little while back as a way for them to earn a little extra cash so they would stop hounding me for cash all the time. I must say that it has been incredibly successful for them and they are very impressed with the money that they have been earning.

I have had many people ask me do I have any safety precautions to protect my children while they are using the internet so I’m writing this article to give my tips on keeping kids safe on the internet. (more...)

Now my little brother Corey is getting in on the act. I let him read my copy of "Blogging To The Bank" and now he's started his own blog so that he can make a bit of money too.

I have to admit though making money through your blog is certainly the easiest way to do it, certainly beats delivering newspapers to make a few extra dollars.  I was so suprised at just how much money can be made through blogging and even though my Mum has been doing it for a while I think even she was a bit surprised that I'd make as much money as I have.
