iPhone iPod feature

The iPhone is not only a mobile phone. No no. When you buy an iPhone you will also get an iPod! This iPod function is very nice because of the big screen. You can play music as well as video.

iPhone visual voicemail feature

The iPhone also has a very nice voicemail function. It’s a so called visual voicemail. With the visual voicemail you can go directly to any message. You don’t have to listen to the other messages first. I think this is a very nice iPhone feature. Now you don’t have to waste any time by listening to other messages…

iPhone internet feature

The iPhone features a HTML email client and the best mobile browser, Safari. You can easily synchronize bookmarks from your Mac or PC.

iPhone Google maps feature

With Google maps and the maps application from the iPhone you can view maps and satellite images. You can also go directly to traffic information. A nice feature nowadays…

There are a lot more iPhone features but the four I mentioned are a few reasons why I will by the iPhone. I also like the touch function. No more buttons to press…

Another thing I like are it’s looks. It has a nice 3.5 screen. I only think that the iPhone is rather big. I don’t think it will fit in pocket anymore.. But with such a nice looking phone I’m not embarrassed to show it to the world!

I started my kids blogging a little while back as a way for them to earn a little extra cash so they would stop hounding me for cash all the time. I must say that it has been incredibly successful for them and they are very impressed with the money that they have been earning.

I have had many people ask me do I have any safety precautions to protect my children while they are using the internet so I’m writing this article to give my tips on keeping kids safe on the internet.

• My kids don’t have internet access from their bedrooms. The computer that they use to access the internet is in the main living area of the house and I very regularly look over their shoulder to see what they are doing.

• Often I will let them use the internet to do any research that they need and then they will go off the internet and just use Word to type up their blog post so that they are just not surfing the internet for long periods of time.

• I have sat my children down and talked to them of the dangers of the internet. I did this after my son who sometimes goes into the ‘Club Penguin’ website was adding lots of other Club Penguin users to his friends. I noticed this on one of these occasions that I looked over his shoulder and then I sat him down and discussed the whole safety issue with him. I have told him that he can only add as friends his friends from school that he meets on Club Penguin – friends that I have met and know. They have abided by this rule as I check regularly and they have never complained.

• Have an internet child safety software program installed. There are many software programs available and if your children do use the internet a lot then it is definitely worth installing one on your computer. Your child’s safety is worth all the money in the world and internet safety programs really aren’t very expensive so if you have children then get one.  My recommendation is a software called I Am Big Brother.

I must admit I have been very lucky and my children have shown no interest in any ‘trouble’ websites and are quite happy to abide by my internet rules. It is very important to always keep an eye on them though and take all the necessary precautions.

The iPhone is a cool gadget that is becoming increasingly popular. The biggest disappointment that I have found with the iPhone is the ringtones.  The iPhone comes with 25 different ringtones but they are fairly average to say the least.   I would have thought that Apple would have supplied better ringtones or an option to purchase or use itunes ringtones.  So for an expensive phone I would have expected better in this area - come on Apple give us some better ringtones.

The next big disappointment are the games. Why can’t we use our Ipod games on the iPhone????  Don’t get me wrong I love my iPhone it has so many fantastic features that have really impressed me and that are very useful and convenient, but it is just these couple of areas that I think the iPhone is lacking.

I know ringtones and games are probably not a big issue for many business people or even older people with iPhones but us young guys and gals would like a bit more quality in ringtones and games.

But until Apple add a better ‘games’ feature there is another option and thank goodness I found it.  iPhone Explosion is a website where you can download games that are compatible to play on your iPhone.  You can also download movies and music too which is cool but the games are my favourite and there are quite a few good ones to choose from.

Most people these days own a computer and are quite comfortable typing on a keyboard.  In recent times one of the greatest things that has been introduced with the ever changing technology is the touch screen.  Now with the iPhone you can have the advantage of both the keyboard and the touch screen as the iPhone allows you to have your fingertips on those virtual keys.The days of sending text messages and finding the letters you need via the number pad are soon disappearing and with the iPhone you can type your text message just as you would on a computer keyboard.Typing on a keyboard is certainly much easier than using the number pad to find your letters and it is even more easier having a touchscreen that automatically slides up from the bottom of the screen when you are inputing text.Most of the other smartphones on the market have a physical keyboard and many users will be comfortable with this and may take a little bit of time getting used to the virtual keys.  Once they have used the virtual keys for a little while though I’m sure it will become the preferred method and much easier to use than the physical keyboard.The iPhone has a built in dictionary so if you make mistakes it is best just to keep on typing and your mistake will likely be corrected if the correct word is in the dictionary.  The auto-correcting feature improves the more you use it as it learns the kind of words that you type.Although I said that they touchscreen keyboard may take some time to get used to, that ‘some time’ is not very long at all and in no time your fingers will be flying over that virtual keyboard like it is second nature for you.So what are you waiting for, if you don’t have the iPhone which is the best in technology of the communication world then you are really missing out on allowing your fingertips to type on the amazing virtual keyboard.

Now my little brother Corey is getting in on the act. I let him read my copy of “Blogging To The Bank” and now he’s started his own blog so that he can make a bit of money too.

I have to admit though making money through your blog is certainly the easiest way to do it, certainly beats delivering newspapers to make a few extra dollars.  I was so suprised at just how much money can be made through blogging and even though my Mum has been doing it for a while I think even she was a bit surprised that I’d make as much money as I have.

What surprises me the most though is that so many teenagers are blogging every single day but just have no idea that they could be making money doing it.

Blogging for Money - the easy way for a teenager to make money.  So easy a child could do it and trust me my brother is only 8 so if he can do it anyone can.
